Jamie Boss was born in New York and raised in Tampa, Florida. She has worked in the hospitality industry for 18 years, beginning at a small family-owned pizzeria where her passion for the hospitality industry was ignited.
Jamie began her studies at The Art Institute of Tampa with a major in Culinary Arts and realized that a life in the kitchen wasn’t for her. Wanting to remain in the industry she switched her major to Food and Beverage Management where she was introduced to the world of wine.
Jamie started at Bern’s in 2017 as a Wine Steward and through her hard work and dedication to the cellar, was promoted to Associate Sommelier in 2019 and Sommelier in 2021.
Jamie enjoys the history of wine and how it has shaped much of the world. She feels the Bern’s wine cellar showcases exactly that history. She strives to ensure that every guest leaves happy and not with just a memory, but an experience.
Jamie is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
